“HARRIET AND MATILDA: CHAMPIONS OF CHANGE”

Although there is no evidence that two well-known Central New York changemakers, Harriet Ross Tubman and Matilda Joslyn Gage, ever met, they both were recognized local and national leaders of the Abolitionist and Suffrage movements of their time. This video highlights details of their personal lives and their far-reaching social justice work in and from their home territory in Central New York.
