To close the gender gap at all levels of government leadership. 1st Amendment-1st Vote, Inc. offers high school girls a non-partisan opportunity to engage in the democratic process, and to imagine themselves in elected office or professional government-related positions.
Did you know the month of JUNE is named after JUNO, the Roman goddess of youth and vital energy, from the Latin root for young? Well, that says it all about the girls in our 2023-24 student cohort graduating this month and heading off to new heights. The high school seniors featured in this newsletter exemplify the program’s vitality that you can see and feel in the photos below. These young women, and their program peers, bring 1st A-1st V’s mission to life with enthusiasm and intention to make a notable mark in this world.
