To close the gender gap at all levels of government leadership. 1st Amendment-1st Vote, Inc. offers high school girls a non-partisan opportunity to engage in the democratic process, and to imagine themselves in elected office or professional government-related positions.

As 2024 opens to new and exciting possibilities, you are invited to support the unique and important work of 1st Amendment – 1st Vote with a donation of any amount. 1stA-1stV is the pathway program to government leadership for teens who identify as girls. Your gift champions our teacher-mentors who help shape these future leaders…an investment in our representative democracy via today’s capable young women like Rima (above video). Each dollar you send directly supports programming for our 154 students this year. Through hands-on simulations, seminars, person-to-person interaction with government leaders, and our Annual Leadership Action Summit, high school girls are encouraged to dream big, aim high, and exercise their leadership voice.
